September and October have been eventful months, filled with events and opportunities to promote Enershare and discuss the project’s progress together. Let’s reflect on what the consortium achieved in the past two months.
Enershare at the FIWARE Global Summit in Naples
On September 18th and 19th, Enershare participated in the 10th edition of the FIWARE Global Summit in Naples (Italy). We were excited to showcase the Enershare mission as part of the Exhibition Hub, which attracted over 400 attendees from around the globe, including public administrations, academics, developers, entrepreneurs, investors, ICT companies, accelerators, SMEs, and large enterprises. Our team engaged in two productive days of discussions centered on developing a Common European Energy Data Space to tackle existing challenges and promote the digitalization, security, and sustainability of the energy industry.
Additionally, Massimo Bertoncini (Project Coordinator of Enershare and Senior R&D Programs & Innovation Manager for Digital Energy at Engineering) served as the moderator for the Smart Energy session on “Energy Data Sharing as an Enabler for Accelerating the Green Energy Transition.”
5th Enershare Plenary Meeting in Aachen (Germany)
The 5th Enershare Plenary Meeting was successfully held in Aachen, Germany, from September 25th to 26th. This gathering brought together our consortium to discuss our progress, align on upcoming objectives, and explore strategies to ensure that we meet our goals. The discussions were highly productive and covered a range of topics, including the development of the Enershare product and tailored workshops for pilots. A heartfelt thank you to all participants for their valuable insights and contributions. We look forward to the next steps and are excited about the positive impact that Enershare will continue to have!
Data-driven Services in the Data Space
In early October, we launched a video campaign to showcase the data-driven services provided by the Enershare Data Space. Our resources page is available for anyone interested in learning more about Enershare and its role in supporting energy sovereignty and secure data exchange. The page features a selection of demonstrations of Enershare services created by our project partners. We will be regularly updating this page with additional demos, so stay tuned for more!
Enershare at Enlit Europe 2024
From October 22nd to 24th, Enershare was showcased at Enlit Europe in Milan (Italy), the premier European forum that highlights the latest news, changes, challenges, and solutions in the energy industry. The presentation took place at a booth shared with several project partners. Each year, Enershare demonstrates its latest advancements in the development, deployment, and validation of the first-ever Reference Implementation of the European Common Energy Data Space.

An overview of the high-quality progress of the Enershare project is now available on the website. These documents detail the project’s achievements over its 36-month duration. Each deliverable is associated with one or more tasks and includes a designated Lead Beneficiary partner as well as two internal reviewers responsible for ensuring the quality of the deliverable.
