Even during the summer season, the Enershare consortium continues to make significant strides with brand-new updates, presentations, and upcoming events. Let’s delve into some noteworthy updates about the project from the month of July.
Research Presentations at the Fifteenth International Conference on Information, Intelligence, Systems and Applications (IISA) 2024, on the Basis of EPU’s Contribution in Enershare
The EPU unit of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) had a considerable representation and contribution in this year’s fifteenth International Conference on Information, Intelligence, Systems and Applications (IISA) in Chania, Greece. Among others, with the presentation of two studies, which were delivered within EPU’s contribution to Enershare.
The first study, titled “Towards Innovative Power-to-Gas Investments in Greece – Novel Simulation Scenarios and Assessment Framework” provided a first roadmap on how renewable fuels such as renewable hydrogen and methane could be optimally adopted by Greece’s wider energy sector. It also provided key Power-to-Gas investment simulations, together with proposed sensitivity analysis, as well as the technical, economic, and environmental KPIs that will be necessary to be measured for informed and optimized decision-making when it comes to investments in Power-to-Gas technologies in Greece.
The second study, titled “Enhancing Green Finance through AI Analytics and Cross-Domain Data Sharing” investigated how AI and the optimal sharing of data between organizations and other users could impact and enhance investments in green energy and green products, such as green bonds, promoting sustainable development and the green transition. Both studies were presented by two colleagues of EPU at the conference, which attracted a considerable number of experts and researchers from a multitude of scientific and technical research sectors globally.
Meet Enershare at the FIWARE Global Summit Exhibition Hub in Naples
Enershare is excited to be attending the 10th edition of the FIWARE Global Summit in Naples, Italy, on the 18th and 19th of September. In July, we announced that Enershare will not only participate in the Summit, but will also have a presence at the Exhibition Hub of the event. This summit brings together a passionate community focused on sharing knowledge, developing impactful solutions, and making a lasting difference. The event will host industry leaders, open-source experts, and decision-makers for two days of inspiring keynotes, presentations, and dynamic panel discussions. As a project, we are excited for attendees to learn more about its reference architecture aimed at deploying and developing common European Data Spaces for Energy.
